Suannutra, a global nutraceutical ingredient supplier, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Myota to introduce its prebiotic fiber blends, including its flagship Metabolic Regulator ingredient, to the U.S., U.K., and E.U. markets.

Metabolic Regulator is a blend of nine plant-based fibers, evidenced to promote the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) through targeted fermentation by gut microbes. It is also associated with blood sugar benefits, maintaining healthy cholesterol levels, and minimizing post-meal glucose spikes. The low-FODMAP formulation is suitable for those with digestive sensitivities.

Suannutra’s flagship ingredient, Metabolaid, can complement this ingredient by indirectly supporting SCFA generation via microbiome modulation.

Metabolaid also activates the AMPk pathway, which is associated with promoting levels of energy, and can also help to maintain healthy lipid metabolism and blood pressure, per the company.

“This partnership enhances our portfolio with targeted microbiome-nourishing solutions, providing next-gen support for cardiometabolic wellness,” said Anthony Weston, CEO of Suannutra. “By combining Metabolaid’s support of key metabolic pathways with Myota’s microbiome-driven prebiotic approach, we’re delivering a complementary dual-action approach to today’s metabolic health needs.”

“We see immense value in pairing our fermentation-optimized prebiotics with Suannutra’s clinically vetted actives,” said Thomas Gurry, PhD, CEO of Myota. “Together, we are shifting the paradigm from generic gut health to precision-formulated, systemic wellness.”
